About Hailey

Hey there! My name is Hailey Duncan, and I am a Licensed Nail Technician located in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

My passion for nails stemmed as a way of decompressing from my workload in college. I was going to school to become a Software Engineer (crazy I know), and I needed a creative outlet to help me destress from the demands of the Tech Industry. Eventually I recognized that Enginering was not for me, and I dropped out with no plan, no job, and no degree.

In September of the same year, I married my sweet Husband, Tasi, and we started our life together. My passion for nail artistry grew as I researched tips and tricks, followed DIY tutorials for nail art, and followed successful Nail Artists on Instagram. I finally knew that I wanted in to this booming Industry, and I signed up for an apprenticeship.

Since graduating, I have completed multiple continued education classes, built a full and sustainable clientele, and opened a salon suite that houses six other nail artists. I have also found a passion for sharing knowledge and knew that I wanted to become an educator in this field. In October, I completed a 16-week course to teach me the ins and outs of teaching, and I have successfully earned my Nail Technician Instructors License. In January of 2025, I will take my first students and license them through my apprenticeship program.

I strive every day to better myself in order to be a positive force in this growing industry. I love every aspect of the nail community, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity I have had to meet such amazing people.
